Quartz of Screams

Zack is the final member of Alpha team. He is the older brother of Ray, by two years, and seems to have some kind of hatred or at least resentment towards his brother. He is in a love triangle with Crystal and Ray.

Lazy, quiet, confrontational and detached, Zack is often at odds with many of the more passionate people in the Resistance. Zack is often wearing an impassive, bored look because he's become bored with his life. He could careless about a multitude of things and prefers to sit around and listen to his music. There's very few things that get him riled up, passing things off with a shrug. A loner by choice, he is actually hardly with his teammates and if he is, it's because he was forced.

Zack volunteered for the Program at a young age as a way to prevent his brother from having to go through the horrors of experimentation. When he finally returned home, he found his parents were dead and his brother was missing. After finding Ray, he learned that he followed him into the Program not long after he left home. When his brother chose the life of an Enforcer and started causing people harm, Zack left for the Resistance; feeling responsible for his brother's mess.

Although he doesn't show it, Zack is an amazing fighter; on par with Crystal even though he can't beat her. His Quartz allows him to manipulate sounds, making him very powerful, but he never flaunts it.
